Good advice for BJJ Beginners

In no particular order- Slow down! I tend to try and roll at 70% or less most of the time. If you roll any harder than that you are most likely using strength, speed, and athleticism to cover mistakes. This will allow you to escape, win, tap the other guy but it won’t help you to learn BJJ. Slow things down to a pace where you are relying on your good BJJ to get you through.
